Computer Virus Removal

1. Use Add/Remove Programs
Please access your system in Safe Mode first. You can do so by pressing the key F8 on your keyboard while your computer is at startup. In the safe mode system, please go through the Start menu and reach the Control Panel. Click the button Add or Remove Programs, and a list of all the programs your computer has will display clearly. Check the program list and find out the one that is associated with spyware or virus. You can search google to check whether the listed program is corresponding to certain virus. Delete the malicious one when confirmed.
2. Get Rid of the Virus Files
If you find out certain computer virus, again you can search for the list of file associated with the specific virus through the Internet. There is lots of virus information on the Internet. Once you have the files name, look for them carefully on your computer and then remove them all.
3. Delete some unwanted Registry Entries
When viruses install on your computer, they always add some entries into the Registry of your system. You can do the same as the above to search the Registry values generated by the viruses and then delete them completely.
